Wedding Pictures :)

Just wanted to post a few of my favorite shots from the wedding. I really, really love the black and white pictures! Very happy with the way they all turned out. :)It rained most of the day, but it didn't get to me one bit. I feel like it actually kept me calm, Lol. It was especially nice during the ceremony and you could hear the rain outside. Many people said it's good luck when it rains anyway! I don't think the day could have been better. :D

Birthday Lust List

My golden birthday is coming up, I'll be 27 on November 27th! I really like the age I am at right now.. I definitely wouldn't want to be 21 again. A while back, husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I hadn't really thought of it until this morning while sitting in class, bored. So Hermes came to mind. I've always loved the classic look of their bracelets. I did a little research to find out which ones I liked best, then emailed them off to hubs. This is what I came up with. :) love, love, love!

Recent favorites and purchases

Over the past year or so I have tried many products and there have been a few that really stood out to me.

Yes to Carrots exfoliating body scrub: Wonderful. I have used many, many exfoliators and so far nothing compares to this. I use it about twice a week and it leaves my skin ohhhh sooooo soft.

Pangea Organics facial cream: I actually got this in my Birchbox, I definitely love it! I have combination skin and this cream has really helped to control my oily t-zone. A little on the expensive side for full size ($36) but I think it would be worth it.

L'Oreal Million Lashes mascara: When I first started using this, the guy that does my hair asked if I had false lashes on.. Lol! That was too funny to me. I have such short lashes and the volume and length this stuff gives you is unbelievable.

TokyoMilk Tainted Love No. 62 Parfum: The scent of this is so warm and yummy, and so perfect for this time of the year. Fragrance notes are dark vanilla bean, orchid, white tea and sandalwood. I wear this just about every day.

Bath & Body Works was having a 2 for $20 candle sale, which is a great deal since 1 candle is normally $20. I have seen a lot of other bloggers raving about the Leaves candle so I decided to pick one up. It smells UHmazing! I will definitely be going back to pick up another one.. I bought this on Saturday and it is almost gone. I also got a more Christmas-y scented candle, Frosted Cranberry.. But forgot to take a pic of it. They also had these really cute seasonal metal holders to put the candle in. So pretty. :)

Finally got a pair of Toms! I decided to go with black, figuring that would be most versatile for my wardrobe. I think I will end up with gray and blue too.. Maybe even red. I love knowing that my purchase also put shoes on the feet of someone in need. What a great idea.

Here is a more accurate pic of Opi's My Private Jet {from my last post}. I'm not sure why the picture looked so orange.. I took it with my iPhone so maybe I won't do that again.

My Private Jet

I swear I am going to post more often! I don't know what my deal is but I have been so forgetful lately. Anyway.. Going to keep this one short and sweet as I need to get back to studying for my exam tomorrow (yuck!).

This is Opi's My Private Jet. I have a funny feeling that I might have already done a post about this one but I am feeling too lazy to look, lol. So whatever, it's a great color and I love to wear it. It's like a sparkly brown. :)

Farmers Market Hydrangeas. Flowers make me so happy! :)

Essie Bahama Mama

This is a super gorgeous color! I only used 2 coats, and it is a little streaky. The name of the color throws me off a bit.. When I think of the Bahamas, I think of bright tropical colors.. Not something super dark. It also looks a lot different than it does in the bottle. I expected a purple-ish color, and got like a dark burgundy. Still very pretty though! And of course, great shade for fall. :)

Opi's Mad as a Hatter

I was never really a fan of glitter polishes (or glitter anything actually..) until I bought Opi's MAAH from the Alice in Wonderland collection. This really is a beautiful polish. It is SOOOOOO sparkly! These pictures don't really do it justice. Much more gorgeous in person. I used 2 coats and it covered well. Formula seems to get goop-y quick though.. But maybe that is normal for glitter polishes. :)

The next 2 pictures were taken with a flash.

Opi Russian Navy

I have accumulated quite a stash of nail polish.. And many of them I still have not tried. So I decided that before I buy anymore, I am going to try out what I already have first. This isn't going to be easy as there are so many great new colors that have recently come out!

So here is OPI's Russian Navy. What a pretty color! I'm not sure why I haven't worn it until now. Definitely a great shade for fall. {Yes, I feel as though I can only wear dark colors in the fall and winter months.. Stupid, I know.}

Here is my last purchase... Opi Fiercely Fiona {yay, on sale}, and Zoya Jana.
